FiberFS 0.9 is now available. This is our first release to date. This release contains a slew of features including full POSIX style reading, writing, seeking, and appending. Distributed conflict detection and merging, 100% CDN compatibility and a built in clustered cache. And we still have a long list of features we plan on building for upcoming releases. These features will range from more complete POSIX functionality to full revision history and rollback support and automatic content compression and encryption.
The goal of our 0.9 release is to gather feedback from users and start moving towards a 1.0 release. For our 1.0 release, we are planning on adding a few more features and also cleanup any rough edges. We also want to get feedback on our licensing model and the project itself. It's best to get things right from the start.
