Terms and Conditions

The FiberFS Community License allows for:

• Personal and commercial use
• Closed source modifications and forks

Restrictions:

• Free to use upto 32 hosts

After 32 hosts, an additional FiberFS License is required at a cost of $2 USD per host per month. Please contact us below for inquiries. Please see the above license links for the full set of terms and conditions.

As for why a host count restriction, we think its important that this project has a user generated source of funding. This allows a majority of our users (those with less than 32 hosts) to use our product for free and a small subset of very large users to pay a very small fee, likely less than 0.1% of their monthly hosting fee. This money pays for full time development of FiberFS and potentially other things... like a new website :) Without this fee, this project runs the risk of becoming inactive, or worse, becoming high cost closed source software.
